Message Looking at the feature list it seems the big omission on the haltech is traction control. Given the pretty harsh price on the racelogic and how big a deal traction is on high HP z's I'd say that for me, thats a huge deal.

On the other hand, pretty much every other comparison seems to go in favor of the haltech or about even.

To me traction control is a must have on aftermarket ECU. Certainly one of the features thats going to have the most direct impact on driving the car. I'm guessing the difference between the best and the worst power wise is not going to be a big deal at the kind of HP you are looking to push, so I'd say engine safety is #1 (knock detection, ease of tuning, realtime wideband feedback etc) and #2 would be additional features like launch control, full throttle shift, traction control, etc.
